New Something Fridays: Derdy Harry & Tripleset with Amplified Visuals
January 28 @ 10:00 pm
New Something Records has been curating and absolutely crushing our Friday night shows since last Summer – We’re so very grateful to work with this Boulder-local record label founded by and for artists. We’re thrilled to have Derdy Harry & Tripleset on the decks the Friday with PUMPNG traction sound + reverse happy hour at midnight! We’ll see you on the dance floor!
Derdy Harry is a house producer and DJ with a knack for variety. Based out of Denver, his gritty and deep sound falls somewhere along the tech and bass house spectrum. His dynamic and energetic DJ sets have earned him opening slots for acts like Chris Lake, Malaa, Asadi, and more. Inspired by artists on labels like Black Book, Dirtybird and Confession, Derdy Harry’s music is a driving force that is known to bring tons of energy and excitement.
Dan Longworth, AKA Tripleset is a dance music producer and DJ located in Boulder, CO. He was born in England and moved to San Francisco when he was 10. Tripleset’s sound is an amalgamation of UK Garage, Funk, Drum & Bass and House music. Dan’s intuitive approach to his creation process involves keeping a childlike sense of imagination and wonder as he explores and create sounds. His tracks utilize a lot of real instruments, as well as vinyl samples, live percussion, and analog synthesizers. The overall goal for the Tripleset project is to create music that makes people dance – be it with headphones on at home, in a festival tent or listening on a club system.
